Steven “Bobo” Torfason

CORPORATE JESTER & PARKING ATTENDANT (LOT C)

BIOGRAPHY

Steven “Bobo” Torfason serves as Corporate Jester and Parking Lot Attendant for Lot C, a dual appointment that reflects both his operational versatility and his unmatched ability to raise morale while directing traffic with theatrical authority. Originally from Iceland, Steven brings a distinctly Nordic sense of resilience, timing, and weather tolerance to one of the company’s most underappreciated strategic assets: the parking lot.

Steven’s early years in Iceland shaped much of his professional character. Raised among dramatic landscapes, long winters, and people who consider silence a complete conversation, he developed a calm, observational presence that later became essential to his work in comedy, logistics, and lot-based conflict resolution. His ability to remain composed in high winds, emotional escalations, and unclear parking disputes is widely regarded as one of his greatest strengths.

As Corporate Jester, Steven is responsible for preserving levity across the organization. His humor is subtle, physical, and often difficult to explain to anyone who has not spent significant time near a fjord.

Whether performing a ceremonial bow at quarterly meetings, quietly heckling inefficient workflows, or appearing at exactly the wrong moment with a tiny bell, Steven brings a sense of mischief that reminds the team not to take itself too seriously.

In his role as Parking Lot Attendant for Lot C, Steven oversees vehicle placement, pedestrian flow, and the sacred preservation of “good spots” with near-religious discipline. He believes every parking lot tells a story, and that Lot C, in particular, tells a story of ambition, asphalt, and unresolved human tension. Under his watch, Lot C has become not merely a place to park, but a controlled environment of order, pageantry, and occasional confusion.

Outside of work, Steven is best known for his profound love of pork chops, which he considers the highest achievement of civilization. While others may speak of art, innovation, or legacy, Steven speaks of seasoning, sear, and thickness with the passion of a man who has seen the truth. To him, a properly cooked pork chop is not dinner; it is a guiding philosophy, a personal compass, and, quite possibly, the reason he continues to serve with such loyalty and purpose.
