Manuel Delallata
PRESIDENT OF SOFTWARE ENGINEERING
BIOGRAPHY
From a very young age, Manuel demonstrated two defining traits: a sharp eye for design and, by his own account, an equally sharp eye for women. While most children were still learning how to format book reports, Manuel was already studying human behavior, interface design, and the mysterious social architecture of confidence. This early awareness of presentation, taste, and audience would later become central to his approach as a software leader.
Manuel’s first major coding project was a website in the adult entertainment space, built for a highly specific and underserved digital audience: homosexual bikers. Though unconventional in subject matter, the project reflected what would become one of Manuel’s greatest professional strengths — identifying niche markets, understanding user needs, and building digital experiences with clarity, commitment, and absolutely no fear of awkward stakeholder questions.
Before joining the team, Manuel spent time in Miami, where he became involved with an ambitious and somewhat mysterious startup known as New Sights. The company operated at the intersection of technology, lifestyle branding, and the kind of business strategy that sounds impressive in a conference room and slightly concerning in a parking garage. Manuel emerged from the experience with stronger instincts, sharper judgment, and a deep appreciation for operational transparency.
Today, Manuel leads software engineering with a focus on structure, speed, and practical execution. He is known for his ability to turn chaotic ideas into functioning systems, his loyalty to the team, and his enduring love for the New Beijing Chinese Restaurant in Eden Prairie, which he regards not simply as a restaurant, but as a foundational institution in his personal and professional development..
